Axom is delighted to offer for sale 1/19th shares in the six-year-old gelding, Dreams Of Milan. He won his only Point-to-Point start in April 2012 in impressive style, before he was purchased by Axom and placed in the capable hands of Grand National-winning trainer Donald McCain.

Dreams Of Milan, a son of Milan, is closely related to the high-class Tiger Cry, who finished second in two Grade 1 hurdles in Ireland before landing the Grade 3 Grand Annual Chase at Cheltenham. He is also from the same family as European Champion, Persian Heights, as well as the useful jumpers, Wollow Will and Gazalani. Milan enjoyed the perfect start to his career at stud and has produced the high-class winners Darlan, Duke Of Lucca, Raya Star, Gullinbursti and The Cockney Mackem.

On his debut under Rules, Dreams Of Milan finished a promising third in a National Hunt Flat race at Uttoxeter, returning to that course just a few weeks later to win on his first attempt over hurdles. His second win came at Ayr in February 2013, and he ended the season back at the Scottish course, finishing a promising second to Seymour Eric.

In his first run over fences he took second at Wetherby in December 2013 and finished last season with two promising runs in handicap chases, finishing second and third at Worcester and Uttoxeter respectively.

Dreams Of Milan is trained by Donald McCain in Cheshire.
