Zoffanys Pride is a three-year-old bay gelding by Zoffany out of Lioness. He is in training with Andrew Balding.

Zoffanys Pride could not have been more impressive on his second career start, at Nottingham, where he came home the easy winner of a competitive maiden. He did not run to expectations at the start of 2016 but has since been gelded and will be out again this summer.

This attractive and athletic gelding was bought at the Goresbridge Breeze Up Sales in Ireland and he displayed an excellent attitude and wonderful stride. He is a half-brother to the useful Mountain Pride and is closely related to the Group 3 winner, Puppeteer. The colt's dam has produced four winners from five runners. Zoffany was the sire's name on everyone's lips after Royal Ascot 2015 and he was responsible for three top class two-year-old winners, namely Illuminate (Albany Stakes), Washington DC (Windsor Castle Stakes) and Waterloo Bridge (Norfolk Stakes).

Andrew Balding has achieved remarkable success in a short space of time and stable stars, past and present, include Casual Look (Group 1 Oaks), Phoenix Reach (Group 1 Dubai Sheema Classic), Bonfire (Group 2 Dante Stakes) and Elm Park (Group 1 Racing Post Trophy).
